Sohail is a highly experienced executive with over 25 years of international experience in internal auditing, risk management and compliance in the healthcare, pensions, education, and municipal sectors. He is a strategic leader and visionary with a proven ability to interact and build positive relationships with the Board, C-Suite and external stakeholders. Sohail has established and strengthened internal audit and risk management functions for various organizations. He was a Chief Audit Executive of large and complex organizations, reported directly to the board and added significant value to the business operations. 

Sohail is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He has a Master in Business Administration (MBA). 

Sohail is a public speaker who has spoken on topics related to internal controls, risk management, fraud and data analytics at professional association conferences and events, CAE roundtables and podcasts. He has served in various capacities at The Institute of Internal Auditors and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association's local chapter boards.
